On Thursday, October 7th, 2021, the Oregon State Police and Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a disabled vehicle near on Highway 140E near milepost 10. Upon arrival, it was determined that the vehicle was involved in a rollover crash. Preliminary investigation revealed an eastbound Ford Taurus, operated by Joshua Harrer (27) of Orovada, Nevada, for unknown reasons went off the roadway and rolled. Harrer sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
