On Friday, June 18, 2021 at approximately 11:00 A.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash on Hwy 140W near milepost 60. Preliminary investigation revealed a Subaru Legacy, operated by Donna Palmer (65) of Klamath Falls, was eastbound when it went off the roadway and rolled down an embankment. Palmer was transported by air ambulance to Rogue Regional Medical Center where they were pronounced deceased. Passenger, Gerald Berton (66) of Klamath Falls, was transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center.
