On Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at approximately 6:37 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a vehicle crash on Hwy 20 at the intersection of Hwy 226. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Honda motorcycle, operated by Martin Pratt Jr. (81) of Portland, was entering Hwy 20 from Hwy 226 and struck the side of a Dodge pickup operated by Mark Lehnert (59) of Philomath. Pratt and his passenger, Carol Pratt (68) of Portland, were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis where Martin Pratt Jr. was pronounced deceased. Lehnert was not injured.
