On Sunday, November 8, 2020 at approximately 10:58 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash on Hwy 214 near milepost 37. Preliminary investigation revealed a Mercedes CLS, operated by Billy Gostevskyh (42) of Silverton, was southbound when it went off the roadway and struck a tree. Gostevskyh sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
