Update: The operator of the Ford is being identifed as Kelly Ann Mumby (59) of Estacada. On Friday, June 19, 2020 at approximately 11:23P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a crash on Highway 224 near SE Dale Lane, east of Barton. Preliminary investigation revealed that a red 1992 Ford F150 was traveling eastbound when for an unknown reason crossed into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a white 2014 Dodge Ram tow truck. The Dodge Ram was operated by Gary Smith (56) of Portland. Smith was accompanied by passenger, Jennifer Sampson (48) of Vancouver. The operator of the Ford sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. Name will be released when next of kin has been notified. Smith and Sampson was transported by ground ambulance to Legacy Emanuel for serious injuries.
