On Saturday, July 24, 2021 at approximately 8:15 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash Hwy 238 near North Applegate Road. Preliminary investigation revealed a Ford Thunderbird, operated by Dona Powers (62) of Central Point, was eastbound when it left the roadway and crashed.
Powers sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
