On Sunday, July 4, 2021 at approximately 4:55 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a crash on Hwy 26 at the intersection of Firwood Rd. Preliminary investigation revealed a Triumph motorcycle was eastbound at a high rate of speed when it collided with a Nissan Rogue, operated by Lois Sirianni (49) of Sandy, that was entering Hwy 26 from Firwood Rd. The motorcycle operator sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. The name will be released when appropriate. Sirianni was not injured.
