Hwy. 42 Winston Reopens, July 4

ODOT: SW Oregon: Oregon 42 (Coos Bay-Roseburg Highway) is now open in Winston (milepost 72.4). The highway had been closed for three weeks near Douglas High School at the west end of Winston due to repairs on the Lower Lookingglass Creek Bridge. All lanes will be open the July 4 weekend. Starting Monday, July 8, Oregon 42 motorists can expect intermittent single-lane closures until the project is completed in August. Flaggers will provide traffic control as needed.
