On Friday, June 19, 2020 at approximately 3:25 P.M. (Mountain time) Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Hwy 95 near milepost 115. Preliminary investigation revealed that a black 2019 Mazda CX9, operated by Molly Stroup (38) of Tumwater, WA. was traveling southbound when it crossed into the northbound lane. The Mazda sideswiped a Keystone travel trailer being pulled by a 2009 Toyota Tundra operated by Christopher Hansen (42) of Nampa, Idaho. The Mazda then sideswiped a 2016 Jeep Cherokee operated by Sharon Burke (55) of San Francisco, CA. The Mazda then collided head on with a 2013 Lexus RX350 operated by Cheryl Gorman (73) of Redwood City, CA. Stroup sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. Gorman sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. The tire of the Mazda came off and struck a northbound 2014 Lexus RX350 operated by John Knox (79) of Fentonway City, CA. Knox’s right front passenger Holly Knox (66) sustained a minor injuries.
