On Thursday, August 19, 2021 at approximately 6:00 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle crash on Highway 99 and Elk Street. Preliminary investigation revealed a Subaru Legacy, operated by Nicholas Dent (39) of Central Point, was southbound and turned left and collided with a northbound Buell motorcycle operated by Alexander Allen (44) of Grants Pass. Allen sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. Dent was uninjured.
