On March 8, 2016 at about 2:40PM, OSP received a report of a hit and run that adjust occurred on Interstate 5 near milepost 286 southbound. An OSP Trooper located the suspect vehicle traveling southbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 282 and attempted to stop it. The vehicle failed to stop and vehicle pursuit occurred. The suspect vehicle pulled over near milepost 273 (just north of Woodburn). The suspect failed to comply with commands but was later taken into custody. Both directions of Interstate 5 were closed but are now open.
