On Friday, September 27, 2019 at approximately 2:35 A.M. Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near mile post 212. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Green Ford Escape, operated by Brad Ashworth (50) of Salt Lake City, UT. was westbound when it left the roadway and rolled. Ashworth sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased. The passenger, Carrie McCarthy (32) of Judith Gap, MT. was flown by Life Flight to the hospital with serious injuries.
