The Oregon Mayors Association and the City of North Bend invite North Bend Students to enter the “If I were Mayor…” contest! North Bend’s contest is underway and runs through May 9, 2014. Local winners’ entries will be forwarded to the state level for a chance to win a new iPad Air! Share your creative ideas about what you would like to see in North Bend if you were mayor. Recent Winners from North Bend: 2013 Local Winner – Alyssa Hutchings; 2012 State Winner – Justin Powell. The three categories for students are: Poster (Grades 4-5), Essay (Grades 6-8), and Video/PowerPoint (Grades 9-12). Posters and Official Entry Forms have been supplied to the local schools.
