The City of North Bend participated in the 2014 “IF I WERE MAYOR, I WOULD…” statewide contest. Congratulations to local student winners: Elementary School – Deacon Deschenes; Middle School – Bailey Aldridge; High School – Mariah Gray. Statewide winners and their mayor will be notified mid-June. Statewide winners and their parents will be recognized at an awards luncheon held during the Oregon Mayors Association Annual Conference in Pendleton on Friday, August 8, 2014, where they will receive their prizes.
