A Coos County man was sentenced to 30-days in jail by Honorable Judge Martin Stone Monday morning, May 14, at the Courthouse in Coquille for violating his probation on a 2015 conviction that he operated an illegal disposal site between Bandon and Coquille. Dale Pennie was originally sentenced to five-years probation, “with one of his conditions being that he clean up his property.” According to a news release from District Attorney R. Paul Frasier, “Since 2015 Mr. Pennie apparently has made little or no effort in cleaning up the property as ordered by the court.” Probation Violations were filed in 2016 and again this year. On April 23rd he was found in violation during a probation violation hearing. He was ordered to the custody of the jail. “Mr. Pennie remains under the obligation to clean up his property.”
