A 100 Volunteer Projects for 100 Years centennial event – Cave Junction, OR—Illinois River Forks State Park rangers need 25 volunteers to lend a hand Saturday, May 21, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Volunteers will pick up litter, cut back invasive scotch broom shrubs, and remove graffiti. All registered volunteers will receive an Oregon State Parks centennial item. Participants must register in advance by May 15. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Be prepared to work with hand tools and move on gravel and uneven surfaces. Tools and other equipment will be provided. Bring drinking water and wear clothes suitable for the weather.
