The City of Coos Bay Public Works Department will be closing half of the Visitor Information Center parking lot in order to install two LED display signs. A new one will be installed in the northwest corner of the parking lot, and the other one will replace the smaller LED display in its current location. There will be two separate parking lot closures to complete the installations. First, the south parking lot closure will take place on July 25th & 26th, and then the north parking lot closure will take place from July 29th – August 1st. The purpose of parking lot closures is to allow city maintenance crews access to the parking area to install the LED display sign and anchor hardware.
