News release CCSO. On January 28, 2017 at approximately 4:48 pm Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 92805 Persimmon Lane in Coos Bay for a report of an intoxicated female with an injured child. Upon arrival at the residence, Deputies located a 22 month old child with a facial laceration, and three other children with their mother, 40 year old Jamie Bowman of Coos Bay. Ms. Bowman was under the influence of alcohol. Subsequent investigation revealed that Jamie Bowman had caused the injury to her 22 month old son and also got into a physical argument with her 16 year old son. Ms. Bowman was arrested and charged with First Degree Criminal Mistreatment, Domestic Harassment and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Upon her arrival at the Coos County Jail, Ms. Bowman’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.192%. Bowman is currently held in lieu of $30,0000 Bail.
