CCSO release 7/23 4 p.m. – We have received word from Ziply fiber that there is an issue with 911 lines, specifically from Bandon to the Coos County Dispatch Center, and possibly affecting calls throughout the county. Some 911 calls have dropped or were not routed to Dispatch. Unfortunately, we were not able to call the numbers back, as they weren’t provided. Ziply technicians are trying to isolate the issue and are running tests to determine how to overcome or re-route the numbers into Dispatch. In the meantime, if you are unable to get through, please call the Dispatch business lines at 541-396-2106 / 541-396-7830. Please use a cell phone as opposed to Ziply land lines at this time. We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves, and will update when the issue is resolved.
