The fastest athlete at the Jim Robinson Twilight Meet in Roseburg Saturday was North Bend’s Jonathan Chilcote.  The junior sprinter won both the 100 (11.10) and 200 (22.94).   Marshfield’s Zach Kellar was second in the 400 (50.92) & sixth in the 200 (24.06).  Marshfield’s Tristin Lemmons was fourth in the 300IH (43.25).  Pirate seniors Tyler Post (50-11) & Phillip Hernandez (50-02) placed third & fourth in the Shot Put.  North Bend’s Hunter Bierce was fifth in the Discus (141-05).  Ty Hampton won the Javelin for the Bulldogs (182-09), while Giovanni Byers was third in the High Jump (5-10).  Chase Howerton was second in the Pole Vault (13-00) for MHS, while teammate Kamren Chard took third (11-00).  Marshfield’s girls short relay team placed fourth (53.47), while North Bend was sixth (54.30).  The Pirates Jaycee Smith was second in the High Jump (5-00).  MHS Pole Vaulters Khaley Aguilar (10-06) and Jamie Anderson (9-06) placed second & fourth.  North Bend’s Chelsea Howard won the Long Jump (17-11).  The Pirates and Bulldogs have a Far West League JV meet at Siuslaw Tuesday, and both will compete in the Prefontaine/Rotary Meet at Marshfield on Saturday.
