The State of Oregon is requesting another hearing on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) approval of a permit for the proposed Jordan Cove Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export terminal on Coos Bay’s North Spit. The federal agency approved the permit last month, but state officials argue that FERC improperly issued the conditional approval prior to obtaining the necessary state permits.
