Jordan Cove refiled their project application in January of this year after receiving the unprejudiced denial in December of last year for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export plant on the North Spit of Coos Bay.  The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved the pre-application on January 24th which started the timeline for the open houses and for Jordan Cove and FERC to work openly with each other. According to Jordan Cove officials, the plan is to file the final application to FERC mid-August this year.  The open houses will begin on Tuesday in North Bend.  The open houses are reportedly a great opportunity for the public to learn more about the proposed project.  All open houses will take place from 4pm-8pm, confirmed dates and locations are below: 3/21/2017 – North Bend – The Mill Casino (3201 Tremont St.); 3/22/2017 – Canyonville – Seven Feathers Casino (146 Chief Miwaleta Ln.); 3/23/2017 – Medford – Medford Public Library, 205 S Central Ave., Medford, 97501; 3/24/2017 – Klamath Falls – Oregon Institute of Technology (3201 Campus Dr. Mt.
