Here comes the City of North Bend’s July Jubilee Celebration. The annual Summer-Time event kicks off a festival atmosphere in the Bay Area each Summer. The Coos County Fair is just next week, the Blackberry Festival follows in August, the Bay Area Fun Festival in September and all surrounded by the Hot August Nights in Winchester Bay, Dune Fest, Harvest Festival in Myrtle Point, Coastal Cool Nights, and Bandon’s Cranberry Festival in September usually indicates an end to all of the festival fun. Well it all gets underway Friday in North Bend with the July Jubilee, Coffee with a Cop at Cicarelli’s, Royal Lunch with this year’s Princesses at NBPL and Honored Citizens Awards gets the celebration rolling also at NBPL. The Run & Walk is Saturday along with Corvette Show. Community Picnic on Saturday in Grant Circle, followed by the Parade, and free swimming at the Municipal Pool Sunday.
