Location: North Bay Road, North Bend, Oregon; Suspect(s): Juvenile. Juvenile arrested on numerous charges after the Semi-Truck crash was reported. On December 17th, 2023, at 7:09 a.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a report of a semi-truck crash on North Bay Lane near milepost 2. Deputy Z. Smith responded and investigated the incident which involved a Juvenile. After an investigation, the Juvenile was arrested on numerous charges, including Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle, Criminal Mischief in the First Degree, Conspiracy to commit a crime, Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver with Property Damage, False Information to a Peace Officer, Fail to carry/present Identification and Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. The Juvenile was transported to Juvenile Detention in Roseburg, where he remains in custody.
