Juvenile escapes Abduction Attempt in JC, Nov. 24

On November 22, 2017 at about 5:30 PM the babysitter of an 8 year old juvenile reported an unknown male subject attempted to abduct the juvenile near the intersection of West 10th Ave. and Oak St. in Junction City. The incident occurred as the juvenile was walking home from a friend’s house approximately one block away. Officers arrived on-scene within two minutes and conducted an area search but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties with short black curly hair, approximately 6-feet tall, with a slender build. The suspect was wearing a yellow shirt, black jeans, red and white shoes, and a brown watch.
