It didn’t happen after all. Law enforcement agencies in Southwest Oregon are no longer searching for a male who allegedly kidnapped a college student from San Jose and forced her to drive to the Bandon area where she escaped and hid in the brush. According to San Jose Police, who interviewed the alleged victim Tuesday, she admitted she made up the entire story.
