On October 25, 2015 at about 4:12PM, OSP Troopers and emergency personnel responded to the report of a two vehicle crash at the Highway 62/Highway 422 junction (south of Crater Lake in Northern Klamath County). Preliminary information indicates a 2007 Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Highway 62 when it collided with a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta as it pulled out from Highway 422. Both vehicles rolled over after impact. The driver of the Toyota, Michelle Rose CIRRITO, age 28, of Chiloquin, was pronounced deceased on scene. Her passenger, a toddler, was transported to Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls for serious injuries. The operator and sole occupant of the Volkswagen was a seventeen year old female from Bend. She was taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center for her injuries.
