With a voter turnout of 699 votes cast Tuesday for the Recall Election in Lakeside, the Lakeside City Council lost its Mayor and three city councilors. According to the unofficial vote tally from the Coos Co. Elections Dept., Mayor Sherry Kinsey was recalled with 71,62% of the vote, Councilor Karen Hurn lost with 68.63% of the vote, Councilor Kimberly Ritter lost with 68.02% of the vote, and Jaci Smith lost with 62.79% of the vote.
