A 70-year old woman was killed Friday when a landslide crashed her home north of Florence on the Central Oregon Coast. Delores Miller was in her Mercer Lake home when dirt, trees and debris rolled into her residence about three-miles north of Florence and east of Hwy. 101. Her husband and a pet escaped the house, which was destroyed. Three other homes were evacuated in the area, and a road was closed two-miles east of the Coastal Route.
