Beach goers are being warned to watch out for large breaking waves along the Oregon Coast. The U.S. Coast Guard dispatched helicopters Sunday, April 20, to a report of people being swept off a North Oregon Coast beach near Neskowin. A sizeable wave reportedly hit the beach and pulled two individuals out to sea. However, that could not be confirmed. Still, a search is a standard response, according to a spokesperson for the USCG. Nothing was found and there have been no reports of anyone missing. At about 10:15 p.m., 15 to 20-foot swells were being report near Cascade Head, north of Lincoln City, on the Central Coast.
