Lawsuit Claims Sex Abuse by former North Bend Priest, Jan. 11

Three men have filed a lawsuit against the Archdiocese of Portland alleging they were sexually abused as children in the 1980’s while attending the Holy Redeemer Church in North Bend.  The suit claims Friar Pius Brazauskas, who was at the church from the late 1970s to late 1990s, abused the three males while they were between the ages of five & 12 years old.  The suit, filed in U.S. District Court, Portland, only identifies the victims by their initials, J.B., S.R., & S.F.  The lawsuit seeks $9 million in Compensatory Damages & $20 million in Punitive Damages.
