Leave Children Home, Aug. 15

News release Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Records Section would like to ask people if they would please leave your child(ren) home. If you come to the Coos County Sheriff’s Office in Coquille to have your fingerprints taken or to apply for a concealed handgun license, please do not bring your child(ren). On a regular basis the Sheriff’s Office has subjects in the lobby conducting business that have had prior contacts with law enforcement that may have just been released from custody or registering due to legal requirements. Because of the possibility of injury while at the Sheriff’s Office due to a child’s behavior or the possibility of an event that would put your child(ren) at risk, we ask that you leave your children at home with another parent or guardian while you conduct your business. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, however, we have your child’s best interest at heart. Thank you for your cooperation.
