LED Streetlight Upgrade Work Continues, May 28

City of Coos Bay release – Christenson Electric, Inc. will begin another round of LED streetlight upgrades on Tuesday, June 1st which will include the completion of poles north of Anderson Avenue and east of Woodland Drive/Ocean Blvd. They will then continue on local roads in northwest Coos Bay area west of Woodland Drive. This phase of work will take place Tuesday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and is scheduled to conclude Friday, June 4th. There will be intermittent lane closures as well as flagging operations as necessary. Please use caution in the construction zones. Construction will continue for the next several months and is scheduled to conclude in early August 2021.
