On August 29, 2018 at approximately 3:45 PM Oregon State Police and emergency personnel responded to the report of a crash on Hwy 30 at milepost 40.5. Investigation revealed that a gray Ford passenger car, operated by David Summers (31) of Longview, was westbound when it crashed into the back of red Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Susan Klokeid (61) of Victoria Canada. Klokeid suffered serious injuries in the collision and was transported by Life Flight to OHSU in Portland. Investigation is continuing.
