City of North Bend release – Access to Lincoln Square in North Bend, will be closed for two days beginning Thursday morning, June 27th. This area is located at the intersection of Union and Florida Avenues. Access to this intersection via Florida Avenue or via Union Avenue must use posted detours. This temporary road closure is due to Lincoln Square improvement work to resurface and repaint the streets. Northbound traffic thru the area will be routed eastbound on Connecticut Avenue back to the highway during this two day period. Please note that the proposed resurfacing work is weather dependent; therefore, dates remain tentative. The city would like to remind everyone to observe all warning signs and be cautious when navigating detour routes. Thank you for your patience.
