From March through May, The North Bend Public Library will be holding a fun competition, using Beanstack. The “Low-stakes Beanstack Challenge” is open to all patrons of the North Bend Public Library. Users can earn badges on Beanstack for reading, reviewing books, and going to NBPL programs. Each time a user earns a badge, they are entered into a monthly drawing for a $10 gift card. Participants that earn at least one badge per month will be entered into a drawing for a $20 gift card at the end of the challenge. Beanstack is a web and mobile app used to track independent reading time, books, and activities. It is free to use, and patrons can sign up for an account by going to http://northbend.beanstack.org/.
