Mailbox Vandals
News release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. On the morning of July 10, 2014 the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office received several reports of spray paint damage to mailboxes, vehicles and fences in the area of Wakonda Beach Rd near Waldport. While investigating the incidents, the deputy contacted juveniles at a residence, three of whom admitted involvement in the graffiti. They were subsequently detained and later released to their parents. Charges of Criminal Mischief III, a class C Misdemeanor, are pending from the juvenile department for all three.
