A 5.5-magnitude earthquake shook the Pacific Ocean seafloor west of Brookings Saturday, Nov. 30. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake, located within two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, occurred at 7:19 p.m., 137-miles west of Curry County.
