Marijuana Bust Central Coast, April 9

News release Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. On April 7th, 2015 at approximately 7:58 PM, Deputy Schermerhorn with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office contacted a male subject associated with an illegally parked vehicle on Highway 101 near NW Colorado St. in Yachats, OR. During the contact with the male subject, later identified as Jon L. Wilkinson, 39 years of age from Klamath Falls, a substantial amount of packaged Marijuana was observed inside the vehicle. The Marijuana was seized and Wilkinson was arrested and lodged at the Lincoln County jail on one count of Unlawful possession of Marijuana. Wilkinson’s bail was set at $50,000. Subsequently the Marijuana was later weighed and determined to be approximately 1 pound. Wilkinson’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
