Booster Clubs
The Marshfield and North Bend booster clubs meet today at noon. The Pirate supporters will gather at Abby’s Pizza in Coos Bay, and the Bulldog backers meet in the high school’s Hall of Champions. Both meetings are open to those interested in local high school sports.

Marshfield’s basketball teams got a split on the road Tuesday night in a couple of non-conference games. The boys won 57-41, but the Lady Pirates fell 51-48. Marshfield’s teams are at Elmira Thursday night.
NB bxb
North Bend made it a clean sweep to open the 2014-15 prep basketball season. The Bulldogs beat Junction City on the road in both the boys’ and girls’ games Tuesday night. The North Bend girls won 49-43, while the boys prevailed 50-35. North Bend is at Newport Friday night.
