Marshfield dropped a pair of non-league softball games at the Bend Tournament in Central Oregon Monday to open the 2014 prep season. The Lady Pirates lost to Ridgeview, of Redmond, 9-0 in the opener, and then fell 16-5 to Roosevelt of Portland, in the nightcap.
