The Maslow Project of Coos County would like to thank our community benefactors for making Maslow the recipient of their seasonal giving. The donations of clothing, shoes, coats, food, toiletries and cash have allowed our staff to provide services and opportunities free of charge to our families and youth. Maslow Project, located at 740 S. Second Street, Coos Bay, provides basic needs, advocacy, and essential support services to homeless children and youth–ages 0-21–and their families throughout Coos County. Maslow Project’s mission is to find these kids, ensure their basic survival needs are met (food, clothing, safety), and support them as they work toward reaching higher-level goals. We focus on “the big picture”– making sure kids can get to, and stay in school–learning valuable life skills, becoming employable, and ultimately, finishing their education. For more information about Maslow or to make a donation please drop by M-Th. 1:30 -4:00 PM or call 541-297-4448.
