News release from NBPD. On Oct. 25, 2016, North Bend Police Dept. was contacted by the North Bend School District to report thefts of medication from Hillcrest Elementary and North Bend High School. School Resource officer Jason Griggs conducted a thorough investigation and arrested Sean Patrick Gerald Maloney, age 24, Coos Bay, Oregon on charges of Burglary II, Criminal Trespass II, Theft II, Criminal Mischief III, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Possession of Controlled Substance (PCS) Within 1000 Feet of a School, PCS Schedule II Within 1000 Feet of a School and PCS Schedule IV Within 1000 Feet of A School. Mr. Maloney was taken into custody and booked into the Coos County Jail at Coquille.
