Bay Park Ln., CCSO release – At about 1:00 PM, Deputies were alerted to the possibility that an individual on Bay Park Lane in Bunker Hill had a weapon, and may have menaced a neighbor. Deputies set up a perimeter and searched for the individual. The incident was not on school property, but due to an increased level of caution, the Lighthouse School was locked down. At about 2:50, Deputies responded to the school to assist with the release of children to their parents. The perimeter has since been lifted, and the school has been removed from lockdown status. The individual has been contacted, and is not believed to pose a threat at this time. The incident is still under investigation and may result in criminal charges.
