On Wednesday evening (01/24/2018), while investigating another case in the area, DINT detectives observed two suspicious subjects in the area of Harvard Avenue and Umpqua Street, in Roseburg. 25 year old Ashley Weta Sheveland, and 42 year old David Wayne Cloud were contacted at a laundromat in the area. Cloud was taken into custody without incident as he had a warrant for his arrest for Theft 1st Degree. Ashley Sheveland was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine, as well as some drug paraphernalia. Cloud was lodged at the Douglas County Jail on the warrant for his arrest. Sheveland was lodged at the Douglas County Jail for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Probation Violation.
