Marshfield’s girls clinched an outright 4A District 4 Championship Tuesday night at Marist Catholic in Eugene. The Lady Pirates (9-0, 22-1) beat the Spartans 48-38 to go three up o the Spartans (6-3, 14-8) with one game remaining Thursday at Elmira. Marshfield’s boys were not as fortunate losing to Marist Catholic 50-22. The loss dropped the Pirates into a tie with Marist with one game remaining. Spartans (8-1, 15-7) finish at Cottage Grove Thursday and Marshfield (8-1, 18-5) is at Elmira.
