Marshfield’s boys clinched the No. 1 seed for the upcoming 4A OSAA Basketball Playoffs from District 4 Tuesday night in Florence with a 50-31 win over Marist Catholic at Siuslaw High School. The two teams tied for a co-championship following the end of the regular season. Marist Catholic (16-8) will be on the road for the playoffs, while Marshfield (20-5) will have a home playoff game on March 1 against an opponent to be determined.
