Marshfield’s boys and girls maintain their hold on first place in the 4A District 4 prep basketball race following a sweep at Junction City Friday night. The Lady Pirates won 56-44, but the boys needed overtime to post a 58-53 win over the Tigers. Marshfield hosts Cottage Grove Tuesday in the Pirates’ final home game of the regular season. Girls (6-0, 19-1) at 5:45 p.m., and the boys (6-0, 16-4) at 7:15 p.m.
