Kevin Swift has reportedly had a change of heart about becoming the next head football coach at Marshfield High School in Coos Bay. Swift, the current AD at Gold Beach, and former Panther head coach, will remain in Gold Beach. John Lemmons, a member of the Marshfield 1992 State Championship Team, will assume the head coaching position for the Pirates. Lemmons has been an assistant under former head coach Josh Line who left Marshfield to become the new head coach at Sheldon in Eugene.
