For the first time since 1994, Marshfield is in the OSAA State Championships for Football.  The Pirates advanced to the 4A finals Saturday with a 48-28 win over Ontario.  Unbeaten Marshfield (11-0) will face unbeaten Cottage Grove (11-0) Saturday, Nov. 25, 2:30 p.m., back at Hillsboro Stadium the site of their semi-final triumph over the Tigers.  The Lions downed Mazama 54-35 in the other 4A semi-final played at Grants Pass Saturday.  Marshfield finished second to Glencoe in ’94, 28-17, and the Pirates last won a state title back in 1992, 36-23 over Ashland.  Saturday’s game will be broadcasts live on FM 91.3 KMHS and streamed on the radio station’s website around the world.
